Continuous Service Monitoring

  • Telecommunication services can be continuously monitored, providing advance alerts before application failure.
  • dotCentral integrates a CloudRider Agent on each provisioned and installed service to monitor connections.
  • This enables notification of service impairments or degradation that typically occur before a full failure.
  • The CloudRider Agent also provides detailed information that can be used to enforce a provider’s Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Video Content Transport Monitoring

For applications involving video transport, automated monitoring and remote analysis software can be added to:

  • Continuously observe program transport.
  • Generate alarms for issues such as:
    • Loss of audio
    • Loss of closed captioning
    • Transport stream performance (ETU number goes here)
    • Other designated alarm conditions

Additional features:

  • MultiViewer function included
  • Requires an additional server for transport stream analysis

Provider Engagement & Issue Resolution

dotCentral engages telecommunication service providers on behalf of customers, eliminating the need for your staff to spend time on these tasks.
